Board members - Stop Abuse in Families (SAIF)



Since 1989, the Stop Abuse in Families (SAIF) Society has been working to promote healthy, safe, respectful relationships in our local communities. They run counselling and education programs for residents of St Albert, Sturgeon County and the surrounding areas.


SAIF's volunteer board of directors is comprised of local community members invested in this invaluable organization's success. They provide governance, oversight, & strategic direction to the organization. A dedicated group, they serve 2 year terms & meet all year round.

Board members attend regular board meetings, participate on committees, attend SAIF major events & meet minimum fundraising commitments.


Currently, SAIF is looking for board members with experience in:


  • accounting & finance

  • first responders (current or retired)

  • community minded business owners/professionals
