Annual Accessible Driver Appreciation Week

The St Albert Community Information & Volunteer Centre Celebrated Annual Accessible Driver Appreciation Week with beverages and snacks for drivers and dispatchers on Thursday, November 14th.

The appreciation event, which was held at Dez Liggett Transit Facility, celebrates the people who drive and schedule accessible transportation.

It is through the daily work of accessible drivers and dispatchers that many people are able to live, work and play in our communities on a daily basis. This event thanks drivers and dispatchers for their welcoming manner, professional driving skills, and the organization of complicated scheduling demands. Their work is essential to supporting the full participation of persons with disabilities in society.
