FIRST AID & CPR.

Do you know what to do in an emergency? Taking a First Aid/CPR course could help you save a life. 

Our First Aid & CPR certification courses are held in partnership with ACT FAST First Aid & Safety Training - a Canadian Red Cross Training Partner. 

EMERGENCY FIRST AID & LEVEL 'C' CPR 

For Teens and Adults (minimum age 13)

Basic one-day course offering lifesaving first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills. Includes:

  • The Red Cross

  • Preparing to respond

  • The EMS system

  • Check, call, care

  • Airway emergencies

  • Breathing and circulation emergencies

  • First aid for respiratory and cardiac arrest

  • Wound care

Course duration:

Full day 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

STANDARD FIRST AID & LEVEL 'C' CPR

Great for the workplace (minimum age 18)

This course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards. Includes:

  • The Red Cross

  • Preparing to respond

  • The EMS system

  • Check, Call, Care

  • Airway emergencies

  • Breathing and Circulation emergencies

  • First aid for respiratory and cardiac arrest

  • Wound care

  • Head and spine injuries

  • Bone, muscle and joint injuries

  • Sudden Medical Emergencies

  • Environmental Emergencies

  • Poisons

Course duration:

Friday  5:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Saturday  8:30 am – 5:30 pm
