International Volunteers Connect with CIVC

Several students from the University of Illinois were in town volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, thanks to a connection made through CIVC! After finding us through our website, the Professor leading the group contacted Glennis Kennedy, Volunteer Coordinator to try and arrange a volunteering experience around construction work.
Glennis was able to match their needs with a Habitat for Humanity build in Edmonton. The students were able to use their skills and talents to assist on the build while gaining some valuable experience for their futures.
