St. Albert Botanic Park, located at 265 Sturgeon Road (780–458-7163) is maintained by 140 volunteers; who spend about 10,000 hours gardening each year. In season visit the circular rose garden, Lilac Lane the peonies, the day lily beds, Asiatic lily bed and in late summer, the dahlia beds. The Mother’s Day Weekend is the start of the garden’s fund-raising rose bush sale.

Partners In Parks (780–459-1600) Help keep St. Albert clean, green and beautiful by adopting a green space, cutting grass, maintaining boulevards or flower beds or simply by picking up litter.

St. Albert Community Gardens (780–459-3179) Rental organic garden plots are available at this location behind LBH Lumber on Riel Drive.

ACT Celebration Garden (780–458-7902) is located in the heart of St. Albert, west of Chateau Mission Court. This is a peaceful, beautiful park, where, in season, visitors may enjoy the scent of lilacs and roses. A pathway lined with sculptural benches and bronze plaques celebrates loved ones and community achievements.
