Adult Volunteers

Since 1965 the community of St. Albert has been recognizing outstanding volunteers. Nominations for volunteer recognition are received from the community. Every volunteer nominated receives a certificate to say thank you for the time given to volunteering.
 
If you know someone who has devoted considerable time volunteering, nominate them for a recognition award and help ensure they know their efforts are appreciated.

Volunteer Citizen of the Year Award

The Roy Financial Services Inc. Volunteer Citizen of the Year Award recognizes an individual or couple whose exceptional volunteerism has enhanced our community.

How are the Award Winners determined?

A Selection Committee comprised of volunteers from St. Albert will review all of the nominations received. Based on the information received from all submissions, this committee will choose the Award winners.

How do you nominate someone?

All nominations must be made using the official nomination form, either the electronic version or printed version. Deadline for nominations is March 23, 2012. Information should be clearly printed or typed and be as comprehensive as possible, with extra pages attached as required.

No personal presentations will be accepted.

The selection committee will select up to five finalists.

The selection committee will notify finalists and their nominator(s) of their selection. The finalists and their nominators will each receive a complimentary ticket to the Volunteer Citizen of the Year/Leaders of Tomorrow Awards ceremony.

All nominee’s and winner’s names for the Volunteer Citizen of the Year and other Community Recognition Awards will be kept strictly confidential prior to the announcement of the finalists.
